Toddler dehydrated at nursery

My 15 month old has recently moved rooms at nursery, and doesn’t seem to drink much anymore. He always seems parched when he gets home and guzzles milk/water. He hasn’t been producing as many wet nappies either. I spoke to the nursery about this and asked them to offer him as much to drink as possible. They say they do but that he just has a few sips, and have left it at that. I’m aware it might be the recent change of room and key worker that has upset him but I’m wondering if I should ask nursery to do more? DH seems to think we should cause more of a fuss but I’m not sure what it is we’d be asking for exactly. If he won’t accept drinks from them at the moment what more could they do realistically? I am concerned about it though so does anyone have any suggestions I could put to he nursery?

Does he have a favorite cup, bottle, sippy etc? My DS wouldn't eat or drink much at nursery but for him he's just extremely picky so I bought in his fav cup, plate and bowl and told him to only offer him food/drink in them and for some reason he's started accepting it now.

I'm sure nursery is offering him but i'm not sure what else they can do if he won't take it.

Yes that’s what I’m thinking. Good idea about the favourite cup, I’ll take in the sippy cup that he likes and see if that helps, thanks.
