Also, sorry mumsnet, not sorry mum - think that was an autocorrect by me though. Beginning to wish I hadn’t bothered with this thread!

I’ve been around long enough to remember previous changes - and the controversies that ensued 😬😄. We’ll get used to it and I’m sure they’ll iron out the glitches!

In defence of the new site, as much as I hate it on mobile, it’s much better using a desktop PC. Perhaps it was designed on a desktop and fixes for tablet and mobile will come later?

I hate it. I hate the nesting thing and the scrolling (joint problems in my wrists make it very difficult). I hate the white space. I want the 'classic' MN back.

All websites should be mobile first and it's built with Bootstrap which is a mobile first framework.

I hate accidentally touching an advert and it taking you directly too it any other site its double click! This its try to scroll anywhere in the vicinity and boom

YABU to post the 157th thread about this in the past 3 or 4 days!

It’s awful and a large part of my career was in web dev. What the fuck is with all the white space? All the thread titles are bunched up like they’re horribly left aligned. Maybe I should try the app though to be honest I never really like that either and always preferred the web version on mobile. No longer, I guess!

It's almost unusable on a mobile phone. The size of the ad is proportionally too big for the endless scrolling and it's still asking me to log in every 5 mins.

I assumed that (a) I'd get used to it, and (b) the glitches would be fixed quickly.

The desktop version is worse than the app!

I agree I’m on a tablet and half the screen is greyed out, all that’s on the grey side is the ‘Trending’ at the top and then just a column of Ads. Not a great use of space imo.

I quite like it. Love the fact that threads I'm watching/on are now organised according to latest updated threads.

Mine looks exactly the same. Though I'm back to getting emails of people who have posted of threads I've posted in which is incredibly annoying.
I don't get ads either, not voting. Maybe I'm special 😌

It is just me finding that my posts and an OP’s posts are the same colour? Both green, so confusing! I swear there used to be a distinction (pink/green) I keep reading posts thinking I never wrote that, oh that’s not me!

On my app active shows all the random threads I never read. Bookmarks don't work and I'm on is constantly highlighted even though I'm up to date reading them. It's bilge. MN towers are in the dark ages regarding app updates.
