.. to think we've been really, really lucky (passport applications)

2 adult passport renewals. One sent to Bootle, one to Liverpool. Applied two days apart and both took 2.5 weeks to be done.

I thought it was up to 10 weeks to get one. Are other offices taking as long?

Why does it matter?

We got ours back in a similar timescale.

if they receive everything, and the form is correct they’re pretty swift.

we had 3 different offices to send to as well.

Not necessarily. No complications with our application at all and it took twice as long as OPs from the same passport office 🤷🏼‍♀️

I only wondered because travelling in the summer with friends whose applications have gone somewhere else (is there an office in Peterborough?????)

I think ten weeks is supposed to be worst case scenario and I do always leave as much time as possible.

However, we got DD3's renewal (and change to her first adult passport) back from Peterborough last week, just under three weeks after we applied (online).
