I have to admit - this Angela Rayner story got me thinking. Whilst undoubtedly a smear campaign - the effectiveness of the underlying ideas may have some validity.
I’m having problems at work, getting sign off on some my ideas at the moment. There is too much reticence to change. People are frequently shouting them down. The root cause - I didn’t go to Oxbridge and they did.
I’ve got a presentation to do tomorrow morning. I’m expecting a critical response to some of the more controversial ideas in it, because they’ll require a lot of work, work which my colleagues are frankly too scared to do. They want to go with the status quo.
Well, I ain’t Francis Rossi.
Thus - perhaps if I whip off my trousers tomorrow and snarl ‘Any questions’ after the last slide - perhaps I’ll finally kick things into action.
Thoughts?
