Should I pay this parking ticket

I pay on a rolling monthly contract to park in a carpark near my home. One morning almost every car had a parking ticket so I figured someone had a mare and I'd easily get out of the ticket

Not so. Contacted the company I pay through (3 weeks ago!) and still had nothing back from them. They are impossible to get hold of. So decided to dispute it myself. Have a receipt of monthly charges. It's just come back as rejected as there is a residents app to register arrival but as I booked through 3rd party and did not use the app how was the parking attendant to have known that I was legit. So I kind of see where they are coming from. Should I pay and try and recoup from the company (which is a well know parking company that I will never use again!).

What are the terms and conditions of the car park? Check the signs. They probably say how to register your arrival if they're claiming that's standard but if you never normally have an issue, and everyone had a ticket, it might not be clear and obvious so you might have a case

No, don't pay it, but don't ignore it.

Follow the disputes procedure all the way through (each parking company is different) but always remember that this is not a fine it is an invoice that a company has sent you for breaking agreed terms and conditions. The only way that they can get you to pay is to take you to the small claims court and if what you have written is accurate they would have no chance in your case.

Parking companies always reject appeals. The only way for them to get the money is to take you to court. If you have told them you have paid and they still refuse to cancel then complain to the landowner and get them to cancel it.
Also go on the moneysavingsexpert forum like the other poster said. They have a section on parking tickets.
Who is the third party you pay through, who are the parking company and who owns the car park?
