Visual stress - tinted glasses?

DD12 was diagnosed with visual stress in Jan 2021 after a long delay due to Covid. She has been using pink paper on school since (although her teachers aren't always great at remembering!!) and this had helped her headaches/difficulty reading. So we have been debating getting her tinted glasses. I have two questions:

  1. Has anyone got these/children got these and do they help?
  2. How do I go about getting her some? Googling says she needs a colorimeter test as tint may be different to overlay colour, but I can't find anywhere nearby (North West not far from Liverpool) that seems to do it.
So to make it an AIBU, am I being unreasonable to think about getting DD tinted glasses? Thanks 😊

Officially, it hasn't been shown to consistently work that well in studies, however, I find that tinted glasses can work really well on occasion and if the coloured overlay appears to be helping, there is a significant chance of the glasses working too.

There seems to be several practices who offer colorimetry - I googled colorimetry +liverpool and got several matches.
