Just ate some ready cooked chicken and 10 mins later DH informed me it's 2 days out of date EnvyEnvy (not envy).

Is there any chance I'll get away with it?

If it didn't smell off it will be fine.

NetflixMom21 · 22/04/2022 13:33

Did it taste and smell okay? đŸ‘€

tiredanddangerous · 22/04/2022 13:33

You'll be fine. You'd have smelled/tasted if it was off.

SnowingInApril · 22/04/2022 13:33

Blush I think it will depend on your constitution…. Is your stomach normally the sensitive type?

NetflixMom21 · 22/04/2022 13:33

If chicken has gone bad you can usually smell it

Vidax · 22/04/2022 13:34

no, you'd better get yourself straight to A&E

(seriously, if it tasted/smelt/looked ok, its probably ok)

gggchick · 22/04/2022 13:35

All seemed ok at the time... thanks Smile

It's extremely unlikely that you will have any ill effects from it. Don't worry!

InTheNightWeWillWish · 22/04/2022 13:36

You can tell when chicken is off. Uncooked and cooked it has an odd colour to it and it smells. If you, somehow, get past the colour and smell, the taste will tell you within one bite. You’re much better going by the look and smell, I’ve had countless that chicken that has been in date but has gone off.

Helenahandkart · 22/04/2022 14:09

I eat out of date chicken on a weekly basis and never shit myself. Like pps are saying , if it smells ok then it’ll be fine.
