Anyone use vinted?

I bought an item on vinted but the seller never updated it with the postage information so yesterday I was refunded for them, I assumed she hadn’t bothered to send them but they’ve arrived today! Obviously vinted have now refunded me not sure what I can do now? Don’t want to be dishonest and it wasn’t much money and now I risk bad feedback
has anyone had this happen before? I never complained about them not being sent but vinted automatically refund after a week if item has not been marked as sent (posted on chat no responses)

I'd just contact Vinted? Sooner or later the seller will bring it up with Vinted as they've sent it but not received the money (through no fault of your own). I wouldn't worry too much. Was it posted with 'Evri'? I've had a few issues with postage/delivered status not being updated properly since they changed the name.

It’s the sellers job to do it, I’ve only started using vinted but I believe the seller is meant to add the shipping information within a week and they did not do it. Refund started
Your purchase was cancelled because the seller didn't send it. A refund has been processed.

Contact Vinted and tell them what's happened 🤷🏼‍♀️

More wondering if it’s happened to anyone else and what vinted do now as I’m happy to pay for it again but need to know how as I don’t want negative feedback left against me when it wasn’t my mistake

I thought it was Vinted who do all the selling labels etc

The buyer arranges the postage through Vinted

I've sold lots on there and it will normally send me a label (Hermes or Royal Mail) paid for by the buyer

I don’t know how it works I’ve never sold on there only bought, but usually when I buy something the seller will update it to say it’s sent and then there will be tracking information, this never happened which is why I was refunded

I’ve just had a very similar thing happen to me, except that the item didn’t arrive as insufficient postage was attached, and Royal Mail sent me a notice asking me to pay an amount before they would deliver! I haven’t paid so that the item will eventually be returned to the seller.
Unfortunately the sender refused to beIieve that I hadn’t received the item and left me negative feedback. I have contacted Vinted several times asking that the feedback is removed as I’ve done absolutely nothing wrong, but they have been most unhelpful.
Apparently you can ask for the seller’s bank details to pay outside the Vinted platform and maybe you should try this? I shouldn’t expect too much help from Vinted itself!

Yes that’s what I’m concerned about, I don’t want to be accused of anything either as I never said it didn’t come it was done automatic! I don’t have PayPal so can’t pay outside of vinted 🤔

I had an automatic refund this week too as the seller hadn’t posted it within 5 days. I did wonder if this kind of thing might happen actually, like it just hasn’t been marked as posted but has been. It served as a little reminder to always mark as sent if I’m selling!

I had this with eBay.

I contacted seller and no reply and then EBay who said they had no procedure for it.

But I feel bad I have the item and have not paid for it.

The seller can create a new product and you can buy it and mark it as received. That’s what I did.

This happened to.me and I contacted the seller & paid them directly by PayPal.
