For everyone who has followed any of the MN threads, Twitter threads, or media coverage (about the website as opposed to the show), and has thought "that should be reported":
I have had a conversation for over half an hour with a social worker from CEOP (part of the National Crime Agency), to whom I had reported this website, which transmits online grooming of children for abuse, and provides handy grooming templates to abusers. Her organisation is looking into it but she also advised people also contact any (or all preferably) of the following:
Avon and Somerset Police (TheEgg Ltd is registered with Companies House at an address in Bristol)
Their own local police through 101
NSPCC
Internet Watch Foundation
I would also add that if people have time to take it further than that, they could contact some of the financial backers such as the Arts Council England and the National Lottery.
Child Protection is everyone's business. You don't have to know a specific child who will be affected, or any child at all, to care about this and take action.
