Shellac Nail chipped after 2 days

I pay £25 for them. AIBU to ask her to fix it? I usually like my nails to last around 2 weeks. It’s only a little chip at the moment but it’s just going to get worse.

No yanbu and she should fix it without a problem. It happens occasionally. I’ve never had an issue popping back in for a quick repair

It should definitely last longer than 2 days! I’d ask them to fix it.

That shouldn’t happen.
You have to go back and I’m sure they will re paint it as it will only take a few minutes.

Yes it will get worse if you don't get it sorted - I stopped using someone who was advertising as using BioSculpture which is more expensive than Shellac. She started using other product (because it was cheaper) but still charged the same prices. Unfortunately the alternative product was not as hard wearing and I had to keep going back for repairs. I got fed up and ditched her.

I've had this happen before, the salon were very apologetic and repainted the nail, just call them, it won't be an issue. FWIW I bought my own lamp and kit over lockdown and never looked back. It paid for itself after two manicures and I can touch up whenever I need to.
