To share a room with 18yo DS2?

Short trip away planned with my parents. Dad has booked, but is worried it's not fair on DS2 to share with me and wonders if it would be better if DS2 shares with his Grandad and I go in with Mum.

Ds2 seems completely unbothered either way. If I'm honest, I'd rather not share with Mum and I'm sure she'd rather share with Dad, but it's only one night.

Is it really so awful for me to share with my 18yo son?

I don't see a problem with sharing with your DS. I would share with mine.

Last year I shared a family room with ds2 20 and ds2 15. No problem at all

You mean in single beds? I share with DS 15, otherwise we'd be paying for two rooms! We just change in the bathroom or in the room when the other person is in the bathroom. No problem.

Yes, it never occurred to me it was weird either, but Dad's really bothered by it.

I still holiday with my sons and we share a room. Just change in the bathroom.
