VBAC after cord prolapse CAT 1 section

Hi Everyone, first time posting here as cant seem to find the answers I’m looking for or anyone else who may have gone through the same as me!

Had preclampsia last year and needed induced - waters were broken and had cord prolapse and had to have section under general anaesthetic

Just a few questions as I’m thinking about trying for baby number 2 at the end of summer however I’m anxious to go through what I did again, my main worry is I’m aware they don’t like to induce you if you’re having a VBAC due to the risks however I’m worried if I go naturally by myself and my water breaks, what if the same happens?

Will they induce me if I want VBAC?
What was your experience of induction for VBAC?
Did you want a VBAC then when you were pregnant think this isn’t for me and go for elective c section?

Thanks everyone!! Xx

I'm not sure if this will help but I had Cord prolapse and crash section with DS1 and I did have VBAC with induction( for distress) but they were 3 years and 9 months apart, so section scar would've been well healed by then
The thing they may be concerned about is the possible rupture of your scar, so I think I would ask advice from midwife/ GP and hope you'll be able to, but ultimately a safe delivery is your goal.
