Hello!

Has anyone done a first aid course in the North East that they could recommend please? Or a country wide course that has good reviews.

Many thanks

What s the context? For work? Kids? general knowledge?

St John’s Ambulance courses are good.

St John Ambulance are the main national providers nowadays, but if you ask around locally (facebook etc) there will be some very good private providers. They will all cover the same subjects, but it’s always worth going along with a list of “what should I do if…”questions because the things people worry about aren’t always the things that get taught.

I've done courses by St John and Red Cross in the past but they are quite expensive compared to smaller companies. The company I use now is GEM compliance (West Yorkshire, so probably not much use for North East).
This is for a two day, work qualification course though. If you just want a refresher or basics course as a member of the public, St John's or Red Cross might be your best bet.
