I get mine delivered and each weekly shop is costing around £55 now. That’s without alcohol for two adults. Shopping at Asda.
Is this about average now?

That seems pretty good but it's hard to compare as people buy different stuff.

Pissyduck · 17/04/2022 18:42

I'd say a bit below average, ours has gone up to about £65 now

MissConductUS · 17/04/2022 18:45

Easily $100 per week for the two of us. When the kids are home from uni for the summer that'll go way up.

I knew I was paying way more for meat and dairy, but I went to the warehouse store yesterday and chocolate baking chips and teriyaki sauce are also way up. It's crazy.

IntergalacticP · 17/04/2022 21:16

Probably about £60ish most of the time for the two of us, occasionally higher if need laundry stuff etc. bit higher than I'd like but not sure there's a lot to be done.

Ilikewinter · 17/04/2022 21:20

Yeah we spend average £60 but then I can nip to Morrisons mid week for milk and spend £10 'stuff'

Janedownourlane · 17/04/2022 21:23

We've just switched from Tesco to Aldi, plus now eating veggie only. We spend about £50 a week, including one bottle of wine. We then top up at Tesco for about £5-£10 getting things that we cant get at Aldi.
We do plan all our meals and stick to the list (eyes off that middle aisle!) and use veg that we grow on the allotment.

weshallneversurrender · 17/04/2022 21:25

40-60 a week, no alcohol but includes cleaning stuff and cat food!

Sosigsandwich · 17/04/2022 21:43

At least £100 a week on food and a bottle of wine, more if we need washing/dishwasher tablets etc.

Bryonny84 · 17/04/2022 22:14

About £50 a week with one bottle of wine and dog food. We buy bread/milk etc during the week and if we need washing liquid/toilet or kitchen rolls/toiletries it is a bit more.

Out of curiosity, what dog food do you buy?
