Do you have a job rather than a career? Feel like I should want a career but I don’t?

I'm similar to @AllOfUsAreDead and others on here by the sounds of it. I've got a 'career' in the corporate world and am called 'manager' but I don't have anyone under me, so it's 'manager' by title only.
I've never let it bleed into my personal life, have never worked long hours, and have actively avoided promotion to 'senior manager' because I don't want the extra stress, hours and responsibility.
I've recently left a major global firm to join a more chilled regional firm and it's a decision that has baffled many of my family and friends who don't understand why I don't constantly want more!

I have a career but I wish I had the financial freedom to leave it and just have a job. Something like admin or school receptionist would be better.
