WIBU to BBQ my brunch??

No worries about neighbours or washing.....one side is away anyway, the other doesn't give a shit (we are friends) and anyway had a firepit with mates last night till nearly midnight.

I have local sausages and bacon from a decent butcher, tomatoes, mushrooms, toast.

I have literally just worked out that it will cost less to whack some lumpwood on the bbq than it would to run my gas hob and electric grill, I'm on prepayment meters and the cost of running these things has really gone up.

My only real questions.....how to do nice buttery mushrooms on the bbq, and what about a fried egg??

DS is away with my mum having a lovely seaside holiday getting spoilt rotten, and this could be my little treat, sitting outside, drinking coffee in the sun and eating something nice.

What do you reckon?
And any tips for the mushrooms/egg much appreciated.....the rest I can do!

Go for it.

Just do your mushrooms and egg in a pan on the top, with butter.

Oh didn't think about a pan on top of bbq!
(idiot!)

Wrap the mushrooms in foil, having put butter and garlic on them first. The foil parcel will BBQ nicely.

Go for it! Make a little foil tray for the mushrooms and egg. Enjoy!
