Why do I look pregnant after eating bread?

My stomach is pretty flat until I eat stuff like bread, potatoes, pasta. I literally look 3-4 months pregnant again after eating these things and I feel so full like im bursting. Does this sound like some kind of an intolerance ?
Any tips on what I could try to change to help this?

Gluten intolerance, Coealic.

You need to see your GP

I'm going to try gluten free.
Will a gp do any tests or just suggest a trial and error thing with my diet maybe?

Don’t remove gluten until after you’ve seen the GP because they won’t be able to test properly.

Yes seconding the post above me do NOT quit eating gluten until your GP has done a celiac blood test. I have a gluten intolerance and as soon as I realized what it could be cut it out immediately and so my celiac test was invalid and I will never know for sure. See your GP

Could also be due to unfermented yeast in the bread - the amount of yeast that's now added to commercially produced bread has increased dramatically over the years as it speeds up the prooving process. But certainly get checked for coeliac, especially if there are other autoimmune diseases in your family. As others said, don't change your diet before you get tested. Coeliac etc won't have any baring on potatoes though. You may find you are just one of those people who do better without loading up on too many carbs and may have to reduce the amount of them you eat at one sitting.

Unless it's home made with basic ingredients, it might not be the gluten, but instead the other additives in modern bread products.

Carb bloat? I've heard carbs make you retain a load of water. I'm not a doctor or whatever, so do your own research ;)
