Council tax rebate?

Anyone eventually got it?
My council tax DD is due today, the bill hasn't been taken out, maybe the rebate has covered it? Who knows

Might be because it's a bank holiday today.

Nope. My DD goes out on 1st so was expecting it near then but our council said unlikely until end April / into May before they start to get them processed

I haven't received the rebate yet, however my council did inform us that they will start taking our bill from May rather than April this year. I assumed this was so that they can complete the administration for the rebate payments throughout April.

Yes. Got mine yesterday. The DD is likely to be delayed until Tuesday because of the Bank Holidays (they're not allowed to take them early) and has nothing to do with the £150 rebate. The rebate will be made as a entirely separate payment into your account. Our LA said they were making payments FROM 1st April so they're doing them in batches.

The government have given councils until Sept to pay it so I suspect some will delay for a while…..

It's Bank Holiday so bills won't come out until Tuesday now.

Check your local council website. Ours have started sorting them but said it'll take a few weeks for everyone to receive them.
