What does cleaner do with cleaning products?

Bit off an odd one but my cleaner seems to go through a standard size cleaning product every 3-4 weeks and now a new bottle of method multi purpose spray that I gave her has gone missing. It’s all a bit weird!

I asked her and she told me she doesn’t know where it’s gone if it’s not in the usually place. Our house is pretty small and minimalist and I did a tidy this morning and didn’t see it. I guess she might have thrown it in the bin by mistake which were collected the following morning:

@modgepodge

Mine got through 2/3 of a bottle of toilet cleaner when I first put it out. Thought it was odd. It then got used at a sensible rate and got used up in the next 2 or 3 cleans. I think she must have spilt it??
I can pretty much guarantee I know why - the squirty cap came out as she was squeezing it! Happens to me occasionally, very annoying as you do lose loads, then have to grope blindly through the now densely coloured water to get the cap out of the loo.

We have this too. I do not know what she does with the stuff. I also have specifically asked her not to use bleach but she seems to be incapable of not using the stuff and constantly asks me to get some, which I then do!!

I think she drinks it all or mixes it all up.

Imagine the cleaner using too much spray. How frivolous of her Hmm
Using a bottle of cleaner a month isn’t really a lot. Try asking her about the other bottle, she’ll likely have more idea than mumsnet about what happened to it.

I'm a cleaner, if you want a cheaper option, undiluted flash is usually £1-£1.50 for a large bottle, decant 1 to 2 capfuls in a spray bottle and fill up with water. Cleans better than method and costs around 1p per bottle
