I'm in my early 30s and want to shift away from high street stores (I quite like Zara, Oasis, Mango, Dorothy Perkins etc) to something a little more upmarket but not sure where to begin?

I know theres a wide range on platforms like ASOS, I have just clicked on dresses and there are 14,446. How do people find gems without sifting through thousands of options?

Perhaps try posting in style and beauty. It's just a matter of using the filters and doing a lot of scrolling.

I use the filters . Sometimes I go by brand or style , it sorta depends . I often filter by price too . Once you start using asos a lot you get better at it . Returns are free ( and so easy ) so there is no stress if you get it wrong .

Don’t shop on ASOS if you want curated clothing. Try searching out boutiques local to you or get on Instagram and find small brands and local stockists. Or go on actual shop websites eg Cos, Arket, Whistles, &OtherStories, me+em, kitri studios, nobody’s child

I’ve become a fan of thread. You answer questions about your style/size etc and get a curated selection of clothes from a wide range of places- free returns too which is a bonus
