Does anyone drink Nestle Dolce Gusto?

Came across Dolce Gusto recently. Can’t understand why anyone would want it:

1 It’s incompatible with Nespresso (even though made by the same company)

2 Few pods available. Supermarket staff (who normally know every product on the shelves) gave me blank looks when I asked about it

3 The ones I found made a drink so weak it tasted of warm milk. If there’s what you want then why not put milk in the microwave/buy ovaltine?

I can’t understand why someone would willingly fork out on a Dolce Gusto machine.

AIBU?

YABU, my DH loves his. We have never had an issue finding pods. He prefers the ones that only contain one pod (flat white, cafe au lait) over the ones with the milk pods but that’s a lot to do with cost I think (you get 16 drinks instead of 8 for the same price). I suspect your not using the right amount of water / time for the two pods if your finding it so milky / watery / cold.

And yes it’s not compatible with Nespresso, personally we disliked Nespresso.

I got one years ago. Used it for a couple months and then got rid. The coffee pods they make give horrible coffee.

What? Aldi do own brand compatible ones, Starbucks, Mars, galaxy all do Dulce gusto pods.

No - it's a Nestle product. I don't buy any of their brands and haven't done so for years.

No to Nestlé anything.
