My ds has asd, he's never made friends before but this year he has a best friend. We are meeting at soft play tomorrow he is so excited. It's his first play date. I've started with cold today - headache, sniffles, temp etc obviously I'll do an lft. But assuming not covid do I -
A, Dose myself up and hope I'm ok
B, Cancel now
C, See how I am cancel tomorrow if too poorly

Obviously C, why are you asking?

Saintofsanto · 11/04/2022 06:28

Give her the option. Say you're starting to feel very 'coldy' and you'll obviously test for Covid but if not would she rather not meet. If she'd rather not agree another date straight away so she doesn't feel like it's a brush off.

MozzarellaMonster · 11/04/2022 06:30

If there was no temp I'd be meh yeah just dose your and go but I'd explain and let her decide.

Overthebow · 11/04/2022 07:08

If you’re feeling better then go but dong go to soft play if you still have a temperature.

Mooster62 · 11/04/2022 07:09

Given the circumstances with your DS, unless you have covid, I would suck it up and go anyway. A cold is bearable for a few hours, his disappointment might not be.

Temp, you stay at home. You'll feel awful anyway.
