God knows where my head's at at the minute...
I've just made batter for yorkies and realised I've used Self raising flour and the last of my eggs 😂😂😂 plus hate waste. Will they turn out alright do you think?
I'm gutted haven't made a roast for ages.

Yes they'll be fine

StrawberrySanta · 10/04/2022 13:08

They should be okay just probably won't rise as much as usual

DropYourSword · 10/04/2022 13:08

@StrawberrySanta

They should be okay just probably won't rise as much as usual
...which is somewhat ironic!
JurasicPerks · 10/04/2022 13:15

They will be fine.

Ponoka7 · 10/04/2022 13:27

As well as not rising, they aren't as crispy, but otherwise perfectly fine.

Oneeata · 10/04/2022 15:19

Well they're not as crispy as usual but my lord they've definitely risen...

I'm shocked they worked OP. I've done this before and they were a disaster!

Fairyliz · 10/04/2022 16:13

Ooh they look fab! Just off to sort my roast think I will make some hope they turn out as good as yours.

My son LOVES Yorkshire puds made with SR flour. He and DH love the stodgy cakeyness of them.
I prefer them traditional, so I alternate which flour I use each time.

Always rise, always tasty!

They look amazing!
