Leaving..

I want to leave my partner but don't even know where to start. I have no money. House is rented in both our names. He absolutely won't leave so I must. Help....

I think the first thing to do is make some plans and know what you are going to do when you go.

Of course, if you are in genuine danger then you need to leave ASAP, but getting in contact with a local women's shelter is a very good idea. They can help you find the best way for you to leave.

If you aren't fleeing, and it's just a relationship that has fallen apart, well you still need to plan. Of course it is difficult to do that when you have no money but speaking with family and friends and making sure that you will have somewhere to go is the right place to start.
