To be suspicious? Asking for credit card details

I recently cancelled a contract with a company that offers legal advice. It's a large nationwide firm. I had paid by credit card and received a phone call yesterday to say my payment would be refunded to the card.

Today I had another call with a message saying I needed to call them with my card details so they could issue the refund. Does that sound suspicious?

Not necessarily. If we return funds to the client we have to return them via the same way they paid us. We will also ring to confirm details but we will explain who we are.

Yes they did explain in the message. I will call them back tomorrow and give the details. Thank you.
