I don’t even know how to put into words how fucking furious I am that you can get such a pitiful punishment for this level of violence. I am so angry about this. It increasingly feels that violence against women just isn’t seen as a problem. Look at what happened to this poor girl. It scares the shit out of me that my DD will grow up in a society like this.

AIBU to think that if this bastard had done that to a random bloke in the street he would have got a stiffer sentence

Shocking 🥶🥶 but not that uncommon sadly.
Very short jail time or no jail time at all in some cases

hattie43 · 07/04/2022 07:45

I was also horrified at this sentence , it needs reviewing and quickly .
What do you have to do to get jail times these days .
A feral teenager got away with spitting in a police officers face yesterday amongst other crimes and she got no jail as she was too immature to cope with it wtf.

The law is so out of touch with how the public feel .

He beat her unconscious, he could easily have killed her and if he is behaving this violently towards women at such a young age he probably will kill someone in the future.

The consequences of his attack will have changed Jordana's life forever and he doesn't even get a meaningful slap on the wrist, his sentence is a token gesture to justice. His sentence and the 12 month non-harrassment order is a real fuck you to Jordana.

hesbeen2021 · 07/04/2022 08:35

I'm horrified. What can we do to have someone look at this sentence again?

LuaDipa · 07/04/2022 08:36

It’s an absolute disgrace. Domestic violence isn’t taken seriously. Even repeat offenders get away with ludicrously short sentences.

newbiename · 07/04/2022 08:36

Disgusting

Rinatinabina · 07/04/2022 08:56

I just don’t understand how anyone can read what happened to her or look at the pictures and not think this guy deserved a prison sentence and yes he will definitely do it again and probably again and then again and then he will kill a woman and there will be some shite trotted about how “we must all learn lessons from this”.

There was an article about little Semina Halliwell in the telegraph this morning. The family are saying the police discouraged her from pressing charges. She was 12! Just 12!

We may as well legalise rape and violence against women and girls it’s practically legal already.

For abusing a footballer with one offensive tweet you get 6 weeks in prison its not much but at least it's a deterrent

Batter a woman rape a child etc etc nothing

Theunamedcat · 07/04/2022 11:27

He only has a 12 month non molestation order? Fucking 12 months? Shit I would be moving far away and changing my name

2Gen · 07/04/2022 12:28

This frightening! Even with all the women in positions of power-politicians, judges and senior police- women and children are no more valued than we ever were. If anything, we're going backwards!
I feel so much for the young woman, Jordana. She's going to carry this for life and he's got away with it-for now!

To women in power, you need to get a grip and start using your power to protect and defend your fellow women and children too! You need to start demanding really tough, severe sentences for men who hurt and harm women and children! You are letting us down so badly it's actually treacherous! Ye are treacherous! Shame on the lot of ye!
