Inspired by another thread! Flying tomorrow with Ryan air 🤢

They haven't advised of any issues or to get there earlier than normal bur worried by stories from other airports

Anyone been through Luton today?

Is it OK? How long in advance would you get there if all checked in online etc

I was there on Saturday if that helps. It was busy but moving steadily and promptly. I arrived 2 hours before and passed through security within 1 hour including queueing to check in a suitcase. Security queue was 15 minutes and suitcase drop off 45 minutes.

Came through Arrivals today - was totally fine! Some queues at Passport Control but they moved quickly. We went through departures Saturday and that was also no worse than usual :)

We did our normal 2 hour arrival which worked well. They were calling the names of flights boarding soon and moving those customers up the queue.

Have a lovely time, hope it is all OK, and please make it your last ever flight with Ryanair.

Dd flew out of Luton with Ryanair a week ago and returned yesterday. There were no long queues or signs of chaos. Have a lovely holiday.

Why? Ryanair is a perfectly good airline which has always got me from A to B without incident. And cheap. You don’t have to buy all the extras they offer which bump up the cost.

We also flew out of Luton on Saturday and there were no queues at all at security or passport control. In fact I would say it was the most calm and organised airport I’d ever flown from!
