Secret Snapchat🤬

Can I have your help please 🙏

So around a year ago I found out my partner had a secret Snapchat account .. he was logging in at work on a morning then deleting it before coming home. Anyways we moved past it .. slight trust issues surfaced but .. well like I say.. a year ago !

This weekend I was sent a screenshot of a new profile ( different username ) this account is linked to his mobile number ( if it's a contact in your phone it will show the contact name also )

When I've questioned it he swears blind he hasn't set it up ..

Is this possible ???

I feel like I'm cracking up with the stress

Why would he be keeping it secret if he has nothing to hide?

completely possible. I know a man with a secret snapchat profile. He definitely doesn't have it for innocent reasons.

But yes, entirely possible. I knew someone who did this, but the idiot used what he thought was an obscure username...for everything. Easily caught.

I mean how can someone use your number to set up an account surely the verification process requires that number. Oh I know he's done it I just can't prove it 100percent

But he's got plenty of time to think about what he has sacrifed while he's paying to stay in a B&B

You ‘were sent a screenshot’? By who? Presumably they sent it to you for a reason, and I doubt they would have done it if they thought the account was totally innocent.

You're asking if it's possible that he DIDN'T set it up? Not possible, there are so many fail safes with phone number verification needed for these things.

I have done It initially showed his contact name

But a day or so after it wasn't showing.. he's been back on hasn't he and somehow removed his number probably to a dodgy email address

No it was my best friend She knows the history and obviously has his number stored in her phone. Feel like such a mug 😒

I'm not sure I follow. What's the issue with him having Snapchat? I don't use it. Briefly tried it about 5 years ago but it was just silly filters that I couldn't get my head around.

Isn't it just another social media platform? Are you against social media?

Sorry if I sound really really dumb! Just not sure what the problem is with him having a Snapchat account?

I've no issue with a social media account ... I do however have an issue with one that's deleted at home ... then activated when out of the house.

The last time there was 6 women he was messaging begind my back x

It is possible if his number is a new number as there is a account set up on my son's number but it definitely itsnt his . The account belongs to the person who used to have his number .

Either because he’s a cheat and will always be one
Or because you can’t move on from what did happen.

Either way this relationship has run it’s course and I wouldn’t waste any more of my time on him.

It would be a massive coincidence the username is his initials and dob .. I've realised he's not very bright.

Does he have an IPhone? And can you get hold if it? I read on here (some mumsnetters are sneaky!) that if you go into Settings, then Battery, it will show how much battery was used by what apps, even those that are deleted and reinstalled? Don’t know if that’s true but might be worth a try? That would show you that he is definitely back on it….but tbh, I think you know that already. He’s being dishonest and like you say, he’s not very bright……I’m sorry op, I know it’s awful, but you definitely deserve better than this xx
