We are doing up an old property which is weeks of work for all trades involved. Last week, the plumbers were told to leave our job early on 2 days- to go to to other customers with urgent needs. The plumber said he only had a 30min fix left on that room which he'd return today to complete.
Today, he was a no show, so we called the main number and got his secretary. Apparently the main boss is on leave and the plumber working on the property is on another job now and can't return this week! We asked why he couldn't call back en-route to or from his others jobs, but told he can't (lives close by). We had other trades in today to complete that room- but now can't because the plumbing isn't done. Its now delaying us and the other trades.
AIBU to think that as our days were cut short last week, we should be a priority this week? Esp as it would only take 30mins?
