To think Phantom kicks are weird

Posting on here for traffic.

Anyone else experienced this, Iv had phantoms kicks before since have my DD 3 years ago. But tonight it literally felt like a baby was kicking in my ribs, slightly uncomfortable and I put my hand there and could feel it on my hand too.
It's really spun me out 😅.

Had this happened to anyone else?

Yes! I've put on weight recently too so freaked out that I was pregnant (I'm definitely not!!). It is really weird. My oldest is three and my youngest us almost two.

Yes I’ve experienced this, it’s so ‘realistic’.

Superhanz · 02/04/2022 03:39

Yes! I had my first baby 5 months ago and sometimes I swear they've forgotten her twin in there!

Gas mine was gas

I have this now and again.

I remember a post a while back, a woman having negative tests but was determined she was pregnant. No matter how many people told her otherwise.

That was the first thread I was invested in where the OP just vanished, I think.

I'd love to have the update one day. But doubt I'd see it even if it happened.

My youngest is 8 and I still get phantom kicks occasionally. I know it’s gas, but it does feel lovely for a few minutes.

LuvMyBoyz · 02/04/2022 07:31

Thank you for this! Never heard of this phenomenon but have felt it. Not for years, though, but I remember the shock of thinking I may be pregnant again. Mystery solved!

I had them for a few days after I had my baby and it was very weird. A few hours after I actually said it to the midwife in a panic 🤣 I didn't know what was going on

I have just been looking into this as I've been getting this sensation under my rib - my youngest DS is 4 and I'm peri so have been quite perturbed!
