Going mad with holiday companies

Apologies for using AIBU - posting here for traffic really because I'm getting desperate and wondered if anyone can advise

I've booked a Rhodes holiday through On The Beach and the flights are with Ryanair
I need to reserve seats (and of course will need to print off boarding passes nearer to June) but the Ryanair site won't let me in. It says to use my Ryanair booking ref and the email address, but all I get is "not recognised"??

I can't even contact On The Beach - supposed to be excellent according to Trust Pilot!! - and just get automated messages repeating "put in email/booking ref on Ryanair", then saying they're very busy and my help request has been cancelled

Obviously can't contact Ryanair either - have been trying all day and I'm still hundreds down the queue

Anyone with any ideas what the hell I can doo please??

On your booking document/confirmation from on the beach there's a page with flight details. I'm sure somewhere on the right hand side of that info, in quite small print it tells you how to log into Ryanair to manage your flights? They kind of set you up with a dummy account if you will?
I'll see if I can find my old email booking from them

Nope - all that On The Beach have sent me is an ATOL certificate with details of flights, hotel and airport parking. Each has an individual reference number and so I've got the Ryanair one which presumably is correct, but there's no other email mentioned so I've input my own when trying to access Ryanair's site

And it's still refusing to let me in Hmm

The email address starting velma06 isn't mine but one on the beach had created so I can log in to Ryanair. Thet usually send you three attachments - atol, terms and conditions and then your actual booking document (hotel voucher, flight voucher and details and any transfer documents)

@MuthaHubbard you might want to ask MNHQ to remove that screenshot as other people could log in to your account from that info Flowers

Puzzledandpissedoff · 01/04/2022 09:21

Yes, I've got the ATOL thing, the T&Cs but not the actual booking document, and on what I have there's no email (the one they used themselves) or otherwise

Just got up and tried to call both Rynair and On The Beach - there's not even a queuing system, both just say they're busy and cut me off - and I can't log in to Ryanair's Live Chat without the email needed ... there's a ChatBot thing, but that's just automatic

Wat the hell do I do now???

Will do now I know op has seen it - thank you (it's an old booking so don't think any one can log in as I changed it all) ,🙂

I think you will need to get in touch with on the beach as it's looking like they haven't sent you everything to you need

Puzzledandpissedoff · 01/04/2022 09:51

It gets worse ... found an On The Beach message with a different email from mine to use ... tried to log in to Ryanair again and it won't accept this either!!

I got through to Ryanair on the "automatic chat" and at least they have a booking for me (was starting to wonder) but they won't let me do anything with it without the verification process Sad

Hi @MuthaHubbard sorry I didn't reply last night - had gone to bed!! - but I found the other email from On The Beach this morning with, as you say, a different email to use

Trouble is, as I typed above, that doesn't work on Ryanair's log in either ...
