To have Easter nails as a 45 year old professional?! 😀

I’m not really asking if I’m being unreasonable. Just wanted to show my Easter nails off! I’m a teacher and looking forward to showing the children tomorrow before we finish for Easter! They loved my Xmas present ones at Christmas.

What do you do that’s probably a bit childish but you don’t care because it’s fun?!

Do it. It's joyful and fun. Nothing wrong with that. I'd be very cheered to see some nails like that on a colleague.

They're awesome! Nail art is my indulgence. I'm not a girly /high maintenance person. I hate massage, hate the feel of make up, I feel awkward at the hairdresser as I don't speak the language and can never accurately articulate what I'm looking for (possibly asd type traits). ANYWAY, I've recently discovered that nails and nail art is a type of pampering I can enjoy, and have found and amazing, skilled nail tech. I'm (just) slightly older than you too. If they make you feel happy then embrace it and start planning your next design!

In a corporate scenario it wouldn’t look great (but do people notice nails still? Probably yes if they are pastel colours) but they look fun and I’m sure your class will like them

And in answer to your question, quirky nails, and dinosaur themed clothing /accessories, because my 8yo has reminded me how much I loved dinosaurs when I was younger, and just how cool they are. (I don't care if you don't think they're cool 😂)

Honestly I’m a professional in my 40s and I attend court hearings most weeks, and I’d have my nails like this!

Mine are supposed to resemble the little foil wrapped mini eggs

I’ve worked in many corporate environments over the past 20ish years and people wear whatever nail polish they want. It’s fine.
