Ukrainian Refugees with Pets - Need Advice

I'm trying to sponsor two Ukrainians, one of whom has two pet cats. I've been into the govt website and it looks like they won't meet the requirements for coming straight into the country (it's impossible to get the blood tests done, but she has chipped and vaccinated), but I am wondering if anyone has had a refugee arrive already with pets and what the process looked like. The government says it will arrange and pay for quarantine, we have to fill in a form when we have the visas and travel plans, but we're wondering if it is better to fly into an airport or go to Calais (they are still in Lviv). Will the cats go to quarantine somewhere near where we are hosting them (London)?

I think there isn't any way to avoid quarantine, but I am just looking for any information about how it will all work, as I don't have pets and haven't come into the country with any. Thanks for any advice!

There is a telephone number and an email address on this link for Ukranian refugees and their pets. Hope it's of help. www.gov.uk/bring-pet-to-great-britain

Thanks I think she has already called and had some generic advice. I was just wondering if anyone has actually arrived with a pet yet, which isn’t that likely since so few visas have been issued. But thanks for the info (and sorry I don’t know how to disable voting, just put this here for traffic).
