Hi, not really an aibu but looking for information in case any mners have recently travelled to US. What kind of test is acceptable and do you need to show paper result from the lab or the test itself. It’s not easy to decipher this from various websites. What should be presented and to whom if travelling to US at the moment. Thanks

Supervised antigen or PCR taken one calendar day before departure. Test certificate shown when you check in I believe and proof of vaccines and attestation form too.

I used a company called Prenetics.

You purchase an antigen test and then book a zoom appointment. A health care professional then watches you take the test and when it comes back negative they email you a certificate.

The test must be done the day on or before your flight.

Supervised lateral flow the day before travel. We used Qured. It’s a complete money making scam.

Does anyone know if boots I store supervised test will suffice? I have left it too late to get a test delivered by post.

I used a local pharmacy who did the antigen test. Lloyds pharmacies do them

They’ll give you a paper certificate or an e-certificate then either take it with you or you can upload it ahead of travel

Can you book a rapid test at the airport?
Justawaterformeplease · 30/03/2022 22:48

Yes, Boots is fine! You can even get one done at most airports if you have time to arrive there early.

ChimChimeny · 30/03/2022 22:56

You can buy Flow Flex tests in boots and book a video appointment with Doc HQ, they supervise you doing the rest and email the certificate straightaway.

Unless.you are flying in th e next 2 days in which case if go into Boots or at the airport. If you opt for the airport it's prob worth doing a lateral flow test before you go so you don't waste your time
