Oh god, got my smiley face on an OPK this morning and this is our first month TTC #2

#1 is 13 months and a shit (and I mean shit) sleeper who is still breastfeeding a lot.

Reasons for TTC
I want to career change but need to stay with current employer for their excellent Mat leave
Would like to spend next year at home with both children before #1 is too old and needs to be at nursery
Would like a small age gap
We have the space and the financial stability
I feel physically ready

Reasons not to...:
I feel so guilty for DS and like I'm replacing him is that crazy?
He doesn't sleep well - will he in 9months time?
Is two under two unimaginably hard? I do love the 'mum' stuff and enjoy being at home and am generally an upbeat person who has been surviving well on little no sleep thus far!!

We conceived immediately last time hence my worry it'll happen again that way!

I would wait until DS1 is 18 months personally because I think that's what's generally recommended for your own recovery, but I think you should delay a little bit because of your hesitation anyway.

@MollyRover yes I think you might be right to be honest!
