Just suddenly feeling down. I’m dealing with a Tupe/redundancy. Everyone is really nice but it’s stressful.

To top that off there is a thread here that I get support and for some reason can’t access. I tried a couple of ways to solve it and can’t (have started a thread in site stuff)

it put me through the MN data protection. First time I unticked everything, second time I’ve just accepted it all so expecting some junk.

That's rubbish. I think sometimes the uncertainty on these things is worse than the actuality. Hope it works out for you OP.

Hey OP, sending you a hug. I'm a TU official, so supporting people through this process is my bread and butter. It is always stressful, sometimes very much so. You are not alone.

Thanks I got up and ate. So strange I’ll be working for a new employer on Friday. I’m so disappointed my employer lost the contract as even if I was made redundant would have been easier.

Mystery of the thread solved - it was in 90 days so deleted - I’ll know for next time. Thanks for the support

My last day working in the office

Transferred today and redundancy is happening fast. Consultation meeting Monday, interview Thursday and know out come before Easter. In some ways glad it’s over soon.

I’ll be so glad when everything is decided.?Redundancy meeting yesterday with my union rep. Manager said they couldn’t say how many people are in redundancy pool still but would update. I was told decision before Easter. Said something slightly different to colleague this morning so still not sure. Meanwhile I’m getting on with the actual work. I’m feeling a bit lonely as have been hybrid and now wfh. I know it’s only a week. We are supporting each other.

Wanted to come back - good news I kept my job. Thanks to everyone on this thread. Good luck to anyone that comes across it in the future if you are facing this.
