About my sainsburys delivery?

Sainsburys cancelled my delivery yesterday. In there was food for mother's day and lots and lots of wine. Apparently due to IT issues they have cancelled over 200 orders.
The wine I ordered had 25% off yesterday. They were happy to reschedule my delivery for tomorrow but would not honour the 25% discount on the wine which ended yesterday.
After an hour on the phone, being passed from pillar to post and trying to work out how to reschedule my order, I then was told by their online person they would honour the discount.
Today my order has been cancelled again and now they aren't going to honour any discounts, basically it's tough.

AIBU or is this dreadful customer service?!

I would just shop elsewhere, cancelled twice in a row? I wouldn’t give them a chance to do it again

What’s up with Sainsbury’s IT at the moment, our local Sainsbury’s has had no card payment for over a week due to IT and scan and shop has been cancelled too.

We used to have Sainsbury’s deliveries once a week and at least once a month there would be an IT issue or an issue with the bank (lady at the bank said it was common because there was something iffy about Sainsbury’s banking system). Flipping pain and almost guaranteed to play up when there was stuff for a special tea.

I've never experienced this before, it's so bizarre! Can't understand what IT issues must cause over 200 orders to be cancelled. And no apology or recognition. Weird

Supermarket deliveries are not profitable for them. They would rather people shopped for themselves.

I stopped using Sainsburys a while ago because they were just a bit crap - either early or late, loads of subs, fragile stuff squashed under tins and bottle when packing...

Waitrose have been fine, but I've recently started using Ocado and they've been great. Bigger range than Waitrose, on time, no or very few subs, and they pack in bags (which you can return next time) which makes life a bit easier.

I have to say I've never had any problems with Sainsbury's. Tesco and Asda I have, though. But YANBU - that is terrible customer service!

I had this with Tesco’s, hour early, I pulled him up on it as it’s annoying and been happening a lot recently, they didn’t even call and I said they are suppose to call if they are coming early, he said “are we?! Hmm” no apology just “are we?!”

Sainsbury’s rejected my credit card today. Fortunately I had enough cash. My card was ok in another store.

Vote with your feet. I won’t use again as was late and an item wasn’t available- they didn’t adjust the price like tesco. They issued a credit for next online shop. Rubbish

I got fed up with Sainsbury's sending short dated stuff and switched to Ocado. This was several years ago so they may have improved but Ocado are much better. Been using them years and I can count on one hand how often they've been late and they only cancelled once when their warehouse caught fire!

We came down with Covid the other week so we decided
To have a home delivery for the first time ever with Sainsburys. There was a lot of crucial items missing. It would have been quicker to go to the shop with a mask on and at least get the cats food and litter never mind the missing Lemsip.

Ours came at 7am once instead of 10am. I'd been working lates so was very annoying as I wasn't awake.

Once they just never turned up.

I got mine ok but all the more specialised stuff that I wanted (whole reason I was using them was subbed with stuff we couldn't use) the first and veg isnt very good compared to tescos. The sainsburys store it comes from is a bit rubbish compared to other stores
