Miele heat pump Drier

We have just (end Feb) changed our old Miele condensing Drier for a new Miele heat pump Drier. Currently waiting for a second Engineer visit to resolve poor drying performance and strange noises. Between 2 and 4 cycles required + Much noisier than old machine.
Anyone else had such issues?

I don't have a Miele but do have a heat pump dryer. It's taking some getting used to. It is far louder than our last dryer, luckily we have a utility room which contains the noise. It does take far longer to dry clothes, we were warning of this before.

What does the booklet say about the cycles? Have you checked that the easy iron setting etc is off?
