So I bought my very expensive glasses (for me anyway) about 6 months ago. Normally I bought a 2 for one in Asda which were vari focals as for work, i drive, use computer, read etc. So friend recommended a new optician because even with vari focals they were on and off my face ALL THE TIME. Pushing them up into my head kind of thing. So they had tough time. Went to local optician got me some 'office' glasses. Brilliant no more on and off all the time. Dropped them a couple of times but about a week later the leg fell off. Not the screw kind of leg so had to pay £25 to get them fixed. So 3 months later , no drops same thing has happened. Honestly cant remember if it's the same leg. I've worn glasses for about 40 years. Think a leg on my glasses broke once. Visually they're great glasses, zeiss lenses, but although I really need my specs I'm loathe to fork out another £25 for them and if I have to of course I will but I dont think its reasonable for them to break twice within a year. What are my 'rights'?
