Concerned about dry patch of skin on breast

Intend to contact my GP tomorrow. I've had it for a couple of weeks now, it was a scratch that has turned into this very dry patch rather than something which has appeared out of nowhere.
It's got a scratch going down it and then the skin is slightly darkened around it.
Never had it before and it's concerning, has anybody else had this or knows what it is? Don't have any other breast changes.

I wonder if you are scratching over zealously in your sleep as it looks like a bruise. I’m sorry I’ve no experience, but I think you’re right to seek peace of mind from a Dr, although I bet it’s nothing to worry about.

A friend had something similar and she is now having chemo, please get checked as soon as you can. I really hope it’s something lesser, but you can’t be too careful.
