Sending cards

Mother's Day has made me wake up to the fact that I send everyone in the family a birthday card and never get any for my birthday (apart from my mum and brother). I send the children cards and money for their birthdays and my child doesn't even get a card for his birthday. AIBU to stop ?

Yeah, they're outdated now. I only send ds1 a birthday card because he lives away. He sends me a GIF for mothers day 😄

Yes op I wouldnt continue it. I just do big birthdays now. I got barely a text from a few friends for mine. I stopped the fuss.

I send cards as does my daughter and her friends.

However if I sent a card with money and didn't get a thank you of any sort, that would be the sender off my list.
