Not happy in relationship but not sure what to do

I’m desperately unhappy in my relationship.
My DP is so miserable all the time and isn’t particularly nice to me. No actual abuse but just snapping a lot and being generally unpleasant.

I don’t have any savings other than my share in the house, we’re not married and we have a 3 year old.
I left my job last year as I’ve been struggling with my mental health.
I’m not sure what to do. I feel really trapped.

I would try to focus on yourself and get yourself in a good position (MH wise - if you can whilst staying where you are) and then get out.

Sort your mental health out first then consider relationship counselling.

Have you tried to talk to him about how you feel? Is he aware of how awful he is at the moment?
