Unhappy children

I know I sound like a right miserable cow but am I alone in having an unhappy child ?? Most of the posts on here about children indicate theirs are happy, with great friends, social lives, doing great at school etc etc. My dd 10 isn't like that at all. She's autistic and struggles with life on a daily basis, has no friends etc. We've already woken up to a row this morning about school next week. It grinds me down so much. Please tell me I'm not alone or am I ?? Hmmthe 'good morning what are you up to today' weekly threads about everyone's lovely life's really upset me to the point I have had to stop reading them.

You are not alone. The holiday adverts on TV have been making me feel so sad lately. My 11yo is autistic and my 8yo is under assessment for ASD and ADHD. He is also having a MH crisis and we're dealing with hours of screaming every evening and threats of killing himself.

Life can be so tough but you're never alone. Flowers

My ds 13 is struggling with the realisation he is likely autistic... School say it is obvious he is so sad... Breaks me.

You're not alone op. My dc 3 has always been very unhappy, high needs and just generally draining and most likely has something. I was thinking about taking him out today as it's lovely weather but I can't cope with another publicly humiliating meltdown whilst watching other families enjoying the weather with their not so difficult children. So it's screen time and laundry day indoors today as its easier to manage sometimes and not be on my toes and high alert wondering the possibilities of things that might end up in a meltdown.
