To spend £300 on a Thermomix tm31?

Just that really.

Always wanted a Thermomix and can’t afford £1,500 for the latest model. Is it worth spending so much money on a 2004 model?

That is quite expensive for one that old. There's some decent looking TM31s on Ebay, I have that model myself and it's excellent, mine is from 2010.

A thermomurmo-whatnow?

Icanflyhigh · 25/03/2022 23:32

What does it do specifically?

thatweirdhippygirl · 25/03/2022 23:35

I personally wouldn’t spend that on an old one. They’re still good but don’t do much more in terms of what all your other cooking appliances can do.

HappyAsLarry2022 · 25/03/2022 23:59

@thatweirdhippygirl can you recommend something similar please?

I’m not in the UK so not sure what you’ve got there, sorry! We have a knock off brand floating around target here for a fraction of the price that I would buy if I was looking for something to do the same stuff but cheaper.

The TM31 is still a great appliance, if you want one I would try and find it at a cheaper price.

What are you specifically wanting it to do?

Jarstastic · 26/03/2022 10:04

I don’t know about the price. If you want one you’ll have to pay the going rate.

I have TM31 and last time I looked they were £400/£500 on eBay.

I flirt with the idea of getting a newer model but if anything were to go wrong with mine I think DH should be able to fix it whilst the newer models are more computer based.
