Lately when I’ve looked at FB I’ve been sent friend requests by doctors with model looks saving lives in London hospitals unable to write a sentence in correct English.
I took the trouble to image search one of the profile pictures and there’s romance scam warnings giving at least 20 different names.
Obviously, as women (and possibly men) fall for the scam I thought I would report this to FB as a fake profile.
The answer was something like we won’t take any action as we can’t find anything wrong with this.
AIBU to think FB shouldn’t enable these scammers and spend 15 seconds on checking the details after a they’ve been reported?
