AIBU to be getting irritated with itv on catch up?

Each time we get to an advert (which go on forever!) the whole prog restarts.

Is it just us?!

Same here. Have to make sure I watch the Ipcress file live now!

We get this with longer programmes. DH used to like watching old cosy crime type episodes on the hub, but it drove him mad trying to get back to where he was before.

ITV player is never great for me.
Often it plays the adverts twice.
Sometimes if I ‘resume’ a programme at the start of a segment it does this:
Plays adverts (sometimes twice)
Plays about 4 seconds of the previous segment.
Plays more adverts (often twice, especially the Asda one!)
Then resumes.
Half the time I have wandered off and found something else to do…

@titchy - yes it’s ruined the Ipcress file for me as it can take 20minutes to get back to the correct point. By which time I’m half asleep.

Might just read the sodding book.

I pay £3.99 a month for itv hub+ , and believe me, to not have to sit through the ads it's 100% worth £1 a week!

Hmmm… don’t watch much on itvhub… anything you’d recommend @mimi14?

I'm sure the glitches are designed to encourage you to sign up for the paid service.

@Spiderysummer or you could do what we do and avoid anything on regular ITV or the player …
