What’s going on with tescos?

Due my tescos order today. I book the flexible slots and always get an email and text letting me know what hour they’ll be. Not heard anything. Went online and they haven’t updated the slot on my account either. I’ve tried calling but they’ve had to ‘unexpectedly shut’ the phone lines so no one is answering. If they’re not bringing my food, I need to go out and buy the kids tea. But I daren’t leave in case they are coming and there’s just something up with their communications? Has anyone else noticed issues with them today?

Can you call the store it's coming from? Rather than their customer service line?

@northbacchus I’ve tried but no ones answering there either. And there’s no email addresses on the website so I can’t even try that! Kids are going to have to have beans on toast for tea!

I had a delivery this morning. Didn't have any problems with the app or text reminders.

It’s still not arrived and there’s no one to contact. It’s so stupid but I’m totally stranded without it! I’m so annoyed

From twitter it looks like the app broke and the phoneline went down. It sounds like the phones are OK now though, but busy.

Been having the opposite with my Tesco’s, them showing up extremely early I booked a shop at 10-11 and it came at 9, when I mentioned it to the man and said they are suppose to call to let you know they are coming early he was “are we?!”

I stopped shopping with them after repeatedly poor service. They’re always just not showing up or coming outside the delivery time.

They've been awful recently. Ive had 2 shops in the last month not turn up with no explanation why.

Are you in London? I had this last week and customer service told me they were having a lot of issues with a big store that services a lot of London. Basically overbooking I think.

Tesco’s Twitter account is advising that there is a problem with the app but that some customers are managing to complete transactions via their website.
