I received the news this morning that I am to receive a promotion. It’s will be into a role which is naturally the next step of my career and comes with a pay increase. I was thrilled at the time.
Due to increase in workload, they will also be looking for a new person to join the team at the same level.
There’s something about the above and how it will change dynamics in the team which has left me feeling deflated and worrying about what will happen next rather than focusing on what I have achieved.
I have no idea why I’m feeling like this either and can’t quite figure out my emotions…?
