Mine are still little (7&5) but the eldest is becoming increasingly rude. Tonight I had a stern chat with him about how the way he was talking to people was unacceptable and how we didn't expect him to behave like that.
I immediately felt completely draconian and like I'm going to erode any desire he might have to open up to us?
How on earth do you do both??
