Keep seeing patterns in numbers ... have I finally gone mad?

I keep seeing patterms in numbers, specifically 11 11 and 17 17 over the last week or so.
This happened me over a period of a few weeks before I found out that my exh was having an affair and left us!

I don't seek this but it is now happening a few times per day over the last fortnight.

My present relationship is at a shit or bust stage so I'm sensing another major change and upset. We both want it to work but we're not getting on atm.

Have I finally gone mad or is there something in this in your experience!

Absolutely OP. Seeing 11 and 17 means an affair. It's science.

I saw lots of 17s just three days ago. And 11s 9 days ago!

If you're anxious - even at the back of your mind without registering it - you might fixate on patterns as a soothing mechanism. Other people might see different patterns.

Not going mad. Staying sane. Look after yourself and don't let this be a worry.

Stay away from dartboards.

They'll drive you mad, I tell ya.

Some of us are programmed to look for patterns in things. I think it feels reassuring (or not in this case) to try and find explanations for every day life wherever we can.

I'll never forget being so freaked out a few years ago and then it conceded with him upping and leaving.
Praps I'm expecting the same again!

Numbers come in patterns all the time- there are only 10 actual numerals after all. I think after your bad experience you've happened to notice a couple of patterns and are now subconsciously looking for the same ones. You're not mad :)

I do this and I'm autistic. Think it's just a habit to keep my brain occupied

I do this too and instead of fighting it, I found its become a way of calming myself down

Move to counting in binary - it makes things a lot easier.

There are patterns all around us, I think sometimes we notice them more.

I see 11 all the time!!

It is really interesting though isn't it ? If not a little freaky.

I also think when you notice something/thinking of something you then go on to notice it more. I always find if I buy a new car, there are suddenly loads and loads of them on the roads. Obviously there's no more than normal - but because it's front of mind I notice every single one of them, whereas normally I'd not give it a second thought

There is a spiritual meaning to numbers though if you believe in that. Seeing 11/11 is a spiritual number. If you google it there is loads about angel numbers and their meaning.
